So, how do you get embarked with Litecoin mining?
You will need a Litecoin mining equipment. This is basically a PC with 1 or more AMD Radeon graphic cards installed. You can use Nvidia graphic cards but your hashrate will be less than 1/Three vertoning of AMD Radeon graphic cards so wij don’t recommend it.
Once you have a Litecoin equipment built, you will need to run the actual mining software to mine Litecoins. See How to Install Ubuntu and Optimize CGMiner for Litecoin Equipment! You can use Windows but wij don’t recommend it much unless you are going to use your Litecoin Equipment spil your laptop during the day and spil a Litecoin equipment at night when you sleep.

Can a lite coin equipment be built for OSX? Interested ter getting began ter scrypt mining, but don’t want to go back to using windows.
I would assume it can use OSX but it might not be spil efficient spil other operating systems. Also, if you don’t want to use windows attempt linux, it’s very efficient.
I noticed you used a 192.186 address for your pool.
I guess that you are using your own pool ??
If this is the case – can you do one of your truly fine demo’s on how to do this?
What rekentuig, OS, software and some setup tips and alerts.
Yes, I use a P2Pool for mining Dogecoin and many other scrypt coins, this is a better way to go since you are not relying on public pools and have your own “node”. I should have a tutorial guide zometeen down the line but if you want to make your own, attempt this guide:
is it possible to solo mine with gridseed / the fury gawminer on raspberry pi or windows? how do you do this? thx for your reply
Yes you can do it but solo mining is only profitable if difficulty is less than like 200 I would say.
If you are using windows 7, create a dogecoin.conf verkeersopstopping ter Users/(username)/AppData/Wandering/DogeCoin – Using this informatie:
For Windows, you need to make a .conf verkeersopstopping then mine to that address with your CGMiner, similar for linux/raspberry pi.
That 750mh/s scrypt asic release is the beginning of the end of scrypt coins. its retailing at just overheen $6000 on http://oneminer.com/ which is insane that’s $8 vanaf 1mh/s making the original gridseed asics worth about $Three I fell for the entire bitcoin asic rush and lost slew of money so fortunately I never even considered buying a scrypt asic but this 750mh/s scrypt asic goes to voorstelling thesis asic producers purposely under power asics so they can sell more units Im sure by now they could produce a gh/s scrypt asic but them slowing stepping the asics hashrate up so a week zometeen you could have had dual the hashrate for half the price seems like a shitty greedy thing to do but to each their own I guess.
Yeah I think it’s better to hold you money, thesis ASIC Scrypt coins are junk, everyone lost money, I don’t know a single person who made enough money to even recoup their initial investment.
